Houndstooth
Houndstooth is an indie 3D art studio with an edgy and unique aesthetic.
The initial concept of the logo came from the idea of merging a strong gothic typeface with the recognizable houndstooth pattern.
Further logomark exploration was achieved by expanding on the concept of a hound dog plus the aforementioned houndstooth pattern shape.
Finally, the logotype was modified to have both H's in 'houndstooth' mirrored to represent fangs - or the 'tooth' of Houndstooth.
